DONATE TO JGFA

In 2003, fellowship alumni established the John Gardner Fellowship Association (JGFA) to continue to promote the values and ideals exemplified by John Gardner and support ongoing service impact of our members, the Fellowship and our parent universities.

JGFA activities are funded entirely by the contributions of Fellowship alumni and others interested in sustaining the public service legacy of John Gardner. Your generous support enables the Association to host regular alumni reunions and community service events, develop new initiatives, and assist the Fellowship programs at both Stanford and UC Berkeley.

JGFA is exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. (Federal Tax ID# 20-1233210.) All contributions to JGFA are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.

DONATE TO THE GARDNER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University jointly established the John Gardner Public Service Fellowship Program in 1985 to encourage new Stanford and UC Berkeley graduates to invest their talent, energy, and training in public service. Each spring, six graduating seniors (three from Berkeley and three from Stanford), are selected as John Gardner Public Service Fellows. Fellows are awarded $30,000 for a ten-month assignment with a senior figure in a government or nonprofit agency. Your charitable contributions help launch our graduates into their first service leadership roles following college.
